Campaign for change

Join our community of Campaigns Ambassadors and together, we will beat cancer.

Become a voice for change and save lives by influencing government policy. Our campaigners all have different backgrounds — some political and some not. Join us and use your influence as a constituent to advocate for change on cancer prevention, early diagnosis, research and access to treatment.

Can you tell us why you want to become a Campaigns Ambassador?

You don't need any previous experience of campaigning or politics, just passion - we can teach you the rest.

Can you tell us what skills and experiences you have that you think will help you in campaigning?

You must be at least 18 years of age to become a Campaigns Ambassador.

A prior criminal conviction or the fact that you have been charged with a criminal offence may not prevent you from volunteering with Cancer Research UK but we need to be able to make fully informed decisions about deploying our volunteers safely and in accordance with the law. Hence failure to disclose relevant information will ordinarily result in the volunteering opportunity being withdrawn with immediate effect.

(You do not need to disclose any convictions which are considered ‘spent’ under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974)
