Nearly 1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetimes, and across England, cancer cases are increasing, patients face unacceptable waits and unequal access to treatment.
In 2024 alone, 74,000 people in England were not treated on time for cancer.
People affected by cancer deserve better.
The UK Government is currently developing their plan to tackle cancer in England. This plan will define cancer research and care for the next decade.
Right now, we risk a plan that is only a sticking plaster for the problems facing cancer care. With demand for cancer services set to increase, we can’t let that happen.
The plan must deliver the change needed for people affected by cancer, both now and in future. But it can only do so if it is bold, ambitious, and backed by dedicated funding.
We’re campaigining to make sure the plan is the turning point for cancer we need- will you join us?
