Cancer Research UK will be hosting an event in Parliament on the future of cancer research in the UK, where MPs can learn more about the role they can play in supporting life-saving research.

Our Parliamentary event “Back the Breakthroughs: a panel discussion on the future of UK cancer research” will mark the launch of the documentary series 'Cancer Detectives: Finding the Cures', airing from 20th November and available to stream on Channel 4.

The panel discussion will be a unique opportunity for your MP to hear from some of the innovators shaping the future of cancer research, such as Professor Sarah Blagden, who is developing a groundbreaking lung cancer prevention vaccine.

The discussion will also explore the patient impact of clinical trials and MPs can learn how they can support research and development in their constituency.
